Écosociété

Since 15 years, publisher Écosociété puts out critical essays with the intent to stir public debate and to contribute to it. Écosociété encourages the production and distribution of critical pieces with the objective of defining the basis of a more just society, more respectful of natural resources, of a democracy closer to the citizens and a sustainable economy. Always attentive to ecological, social and political preoccupations, as well as to alternatives put to the fore by social movements, the publisher makes about ten books public a year, the topics of which range over the following: ecology, consumption, economy, social values, globalization, gepolitics, agriculture, international solidarity, etc.

The publisher is part of the Institute for an Écosociété, a non profit that elects the members of the board every year.
